We are pleased to announce the addition of Courtney Berger, Parkview Wellness Coach, to our team. Courtney is a Parkview employee and she has recently joined us as our on-site Wellness Coach. Courtney will be spending 20 hours per week throughout our school system working on a variety of health and wellness initiatives, with a primary focus on personalized one-on-one wellness coaching. Her office is located at the Horace Mann Education Center, but she will primarily be conducting on-site visits to employees in our other school buildings.

While not at HCCSC, Courtney serves as Wellness Coach for Parkview Occupational Health. She has a B.S. degree in Exercise Science from Huntington University and has been working in the field of health and wellness for more than five years. Courtney is a certified Health and Wellness Coach and prides herself in partnering with individuals as they become engaged in making positive life changes. In addition to her Wellness Coach certification, Courtney is an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid Instructor and a Freedom from Smoking Certified Facilitator.

During her first month, she will be spending time at each school meeting with faculty and staff and will be distributing an employee interest survey. Based upon the results of the employee interest survey, Courtney will be developing and implementing a variety of on-site wellness programs. In the early fall, she will be responsible for the promotion and implementation of a Health Risk Assessment screening program and subsequent one-on-one wellness coaching.
